As summer winds down, the excitement of a new school year starts to build. Not only to we look forward to the start of the school year here at FLS, but it’s our first ever school year.

By state law in Missouri, a special sales tax holiday takes place beginning the first Friday in August and continuing through the following Sunday. This means, if you’re wanting to save on school supplies this year, get out to your local retailer this weekend, August 2-4, to complete your school supplies shopping without paying sales tax.
