Take a moment to think about some of the “firsts” in your life: a first date, your first job, your first paycheck, the day your first child was born, or the first time you drove with a license in hand. These moments stand out—not just because they happened first, but because they shaped you. They’re often the memories we look back on with joy and gratitude.
When I reflect on our first year at Faith Lutheran School, I’m filled with the same sense of gratitude. This year was full of meaningful “firsts”: our first day of school, our first chapel, our first field trip, and our first end-of-year celebration. And through each of these moments, one thing has remained clear—God has been faithful every step of the way.
Throughout the year, we witnessed our mission come to life. When we say we prepare children to be Christ-like, well-educated, and service-minded, we mean that we partner with parents to equip their children for today, tomorrow, and eternity. Every day, little ministry moments quietly unfolded. Students learned about the Bible in religion class, but they also discovered how faith applies in math, science, and reading. We saw children stop to pray for one another, extend a helping hand, and show kindness when no one was watching. They didn’t just hear the mission—they lived it.
One parent recently shared, “The teachers at Faith Lutheran School have helped our son grow so much academically, socially, and spiritually.” That’s our aim: that every child would grow in knowledge and in faith, learning what it means to follow Jesus in all areas of life.
As we look forward to our second year, we do so with anticipation and joy. This fall, we’re excited to add another grade level, expanding to a K–4 school. We truly believe this is only the beginning of the beautiful future God has planned for our students and our community.
If we haven’t met you yet, we’d love to connect. Join us for our upcoming Open House or schedule a personal tour to see what God is doing at Faith Lutheran School.
We’ve cherished the “firsts” of this past year—and we’d love for your family to be part of the many firsts still to come.
