For over 175 years, Lutheran schools have been nurturing children through Christian education and empowering them beyond the classroom.
When the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod (LCMS) was founded in 1847, it became a requirement for churches to provide Christian education for the children in their community. Because public education wasn’t available, many churches chose to provide for this need through Christian day school. They believed that by integrating faith with curriculum, children would develop into adults who were equipped and well-prepared for this world and eternity. We still believe this today.
Faith Lutheran Church has had the vision to provide a Christian day school for several years. Back in 2005, Faith Lutheran Church was led by God to construct the Life Center, a large facility with a full-size gymnasium and several classrooms. Now the Lord has provided the opportunity to care for the souls and minds of children through Faith Lutheran School (FLS).
When you choose FLS, you know that your child will be well prepared for what they need to know today, develop skills for tomorrow, and have confidence that they are loved by God for all eternity.
