Faculty And Staff

Mrs. Emily White – Teacher/Principal

Mrs. White brings 26 years of leadership experience in Lutheran schools, having served in various roles since 1998. Her extensive background includes positions as a classroom teacher, music teacher, technology coordinator, and most recently, principal and teacher. She is certified in School Leadership Development (SLED) through the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS), a rigorous program for administrators, and is currently working toward her master’s degree in Christian Elementary Administration.

Mrs. Laura Krueger – Teacher

Laura L. Krueger is an educator and missionary with a rich background in teaching and discipleship. She studied music and education at Concordia University, Ann Arbor, and theology at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Laura taught 1st and 2nd grade for three years before serving as a missionary in the Philippines, where she trained evangelists and built youth discipleship programs. She also served as a long-term substitute for 3rd through 6th grades during furloughs. She taught kindergarten at St. Paul in McAllen, Texas, where Joel had his first call. For 19 years, Laura has homeschooled her four children and has taught orchestra and choir theory for seven years at Play and Sing His Praises.

Mr. Joey Bluege – Executive Director/Pastor

Joey Bluege loves to work with individuals and groups to help them reach their God-given potential. Joey grew up in northern Illinois before attending College of the Ozarks in Branson, MO. After completing his degree in Marketing and Psychology in 2015, Joey served at Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball, TX. During this call, he was part of a team that planted an online congregation and developed digital discipleship initiatives. During his time at Salem, he completed the Specific Ministry Program through Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. In 2020, he and his family moved to St. Louis to complete his Masters of Divinity in 2022. Since then, he has served at Faith Lutheran Church with a focus on family ministry. Joey is blessed to be married to his wife, Catherine, and blessed to have three wonderful young children in their home.  Joey enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and hanging out with this family.
